Current Information:Age-20 Cabaret-Rouge British Cemetery, Souchez, France 22nd Royal Fusiliers arrived in France in November, 1915 to join 99 Brigade, 2nd Division. Between 17th June and 22nd June, 1916 they were in the front line trenches at Carency, just to the north of Arras.The Battalion Diary recorded the death of George Black on 21st June, 1916, but went into no further detail. |
